FOLEY — Brenda (Goergen) Dombrowski, of Foley, passed away peacefully in Fairhope on July 27, 2025. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on Aug. 11, 1939.
Brenda’s beloved husband of 62 years was Karl Vincent Dombrowski, who died in October 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Coraline Goergen; sisters, Lorraine Dunlevy and Delores Bianco; loving son-in-law, Philip Melton; and many other relatives and close friends.
Brenda leaves behind her daughters, Debi Dombrowski and Jody Beth Melton; granddaughter, Jess Reeve (Eric Allocco); nieces, Luanne (Allen) Emanuel, Nancy Bianco, Cathy Bianco, Melissa (Clay) Hall; a nephew, Michael Tenedine; and other family and friends.
Brenda touched and inspired many lives, young and old, throughout her nursing career, as well as later in her life through her passion for leading Bible studies. All who were blessed to know Brenda knew she had a zest for life and lived each and every day to the fullest.

A Witness to the Resurrection service was Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Swift Presbyterian Church. The family received visitors at the church beginning at 10 a.m.
