Please take a look at the draft directories in the back of the sanctuary and make sure your information is correct. We are close to printing them and would appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to make sure your listing is accurate. If there are changes, please write them on draft copy and they will be updated. The anniversaries are on a separate page, so please check there, too. If you are missing a picture and would like to provide one, please send it to Susan Pichoff at tabfanatic@gmail.com by July 13.

►‘Snacks with Susan and Daryl’ discussion class
Sundays from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in annex room 4
“Unoffendable” by Brant Hansen will be our next video study series to watch and discuss, starting July 13.
Having “righteous anger” is just a myth. While we all will get angry at times — after all, we are human — the Bible tells us we are not to hold onto it. In fact, Christians are supposed to forfeit their right to be offended — and give up their right to be angry. And as it turns out, when we do this we will find it to be one of the most freeing, healthy, simplifying, relaxing, refreshing, stress-relieving, encouraging things that we can do.
Learn to live life with less stress and more care by:
• adjusting our expectations to fit human nature
• replacing perpetual anger with refreshing humility and gratitude
• and embracing forgiveness and beginning to love others in unexpected ways.
This study lifts religious burdens from our backs and allows us to experience the joy of gratitude every day of their lives — flourishing the way God intended.
Join us on Sunday mornings at 9 in annex room 4 for a bite to eat and some thought-provoking conversation
►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine
Sundays from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in annex room 2
Today we will begin our study of the Book of Leviticus, the third book of the Pentateuch.
This book contains commandments given to Moses by God at the foot of Mount Sinai over about a one-month period just prior to the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land.
Leviticus contains instructions for worship and personal holiness. Although the New Testament (the New Covenant) abrogates Old Testament ceremonial law, the Levitical priesthood, and the sanctuary, the Book of Leviticus offers us greater insight into the nature of God and how He wants us to relate to Him.
If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself. Visitors and new class members are always welcome. We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries.
The class meets in annex room 2 on Sundays at 9 a.m. We look forward to seeing you.
