Deadline is July 31
Calling all cooks — ladies and gentlemen. Don’t forget to submit your recipes (more than one, please) and cooking secrets for our new church cookbook. We would like to include a family heirloom section with treasured handwritten recipes from your loved ones. You can place your recipes in the box in the fellowship hall, turn them in to the church office or email them to swiftpc@gulftel.com. The cookbook will be ready in time for our Christmas marketplace and Christmas gifts for your family and friends.

►Preschool board might be a fit for you
Al Sprouse was a dedicated servant at Swift Presbyterian Church. One of his roles was as a member of the Swift Church Preschool Board of Directors. This is a 6-to-7-member board that meets one afternoon a month with the preschool director and the pastor. The board consults with the director on preschool finances, needs, staffing and problem solving. The board is made up of Susie Alexander, Mary Ard, Jane King, Jan Taylor, and Cathy Rogers. Board members possess a love for children, value and understand the need for a preschool to serve our community, have an appreciation of child development in young children, and value Christian education. We welcome members of either gender. We normally meet on Wednesday afternoon but can be flexible for the convenience of members. Please prayerfully consider joining us.

►Snacks with Susan and Daryl Sunday school class
Join us for Snacks with Susan and Daryl for a study based on Psalm 23. This six-week study looks at how we feel worried, edgy, and anxious, thinking if only our faith was stronger, it would all be OK. Please stop in and watch the video with us and share your thoughts. We meet at 8 a.m. in annex room 4.
■ The class will be taking off July 14, 21 and 28 to refresh. See you back on Aug. 4.
►Adult Sunday school class led by Bill and Catherine
Join us as we continue our study of the book of Exodus.
We meet at 8 a.m. in annex room 2.
