►Worship service in the sanctuary
■ This Sunday, Sept. 13, our service will be held in the sanctuary at 10 a.m. All special precautions will be observed, such as masks, social distancing, cleanliness, etc. The safety team has marked off pews and will serve as ushers. The handbell choir will play and Jenni and Lisa will play a piano duet. We all look forward to holding our services together again after such a long absence.

A congregational meeting was held on Sunday, Sept. 6, and the following were elected to serve on the nominating committee: Al Sprouse and Brett Cardwell, elders; Betty Sizemore, deacon; Jack Williams, Daryl Pichoff, Eunice Ray and Debbie Schmidt.
The handbell choir has resumed rehearsal on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
A deacons meeting will be held on Sept. 20 immediately after worship at 11 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

We continue to practice radical hospitality by ongoing contact with our church family. Let us welcome God in, receive God’s love and make room for God in our lives. Let us pray that we will soon be together again, focusing on receiving God’s love and sharing it with others.

Susan and Daryl’s class will conclude “What Makes You Happy (Not What You Expect)” this Sunday, Sept. 13. The DVD study of “Unafraid” by Adam Hamilton will begin on Sept. 20. You do not have to have the book that accompanies the study, but if you would like one, please contact Susan and she can tell you how to order one. We invite you to join us in the fellowship hall on Sundays at 9 a.m.

The food pantry served 41 people with 17 bags, three face masks and a pair of shoes on Sept. 9. The pantry will be open again on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 10 to 11 a.m.
