■ Dedication of Swift Church historical marker is today at 3 p.m. in the chapel, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall. The marker has been placed on CR 20 near Coleman Lane as part of the Baldwin County Bicentennial Celebration. After the reception, a photographer will be available at the marker for individuals and groups who wish to have their picture made beside it.

|Thursday morning Bible study |
A 12-week Bible study based on the Gospel of Matthew began Sept. 19. This study uses the Bible and a study book, Six Themes in Matthew Everyone Should Know. Pastor Jody Beth and Elder Philip Melton facilitate. The cost is $12 and scholarships are available.
This group will continue to gather in room 2 in the annex from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursdays through Dec. 12, with Thanksgiving off. Come for study and fellowship. Contact Pastor Jody Beth for more information and to sign up, email@example.com, 213-6625.

Fall festival Oct. 20 will be a fundraiser
The fall festival will be Sunday, Oct. 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church. The youth will be in charge of the fall festival as a fundraiser. We will have soups, trunk-or-treat, costume contest, games, and a hayride. Lots of fun for everyone! Come and support the youth. Please let Tara Morrow or the church office know if you would like to bring a crockpot of soup and/or participate in trunk-or-treat.
