    Today we recognize the veterans who are buried in our cemetery with flags at their gravesites. Special thanks to Jim Runtz and Judy Walker for putting out the flags.

    Sunday, Nov. 17 — Baptism of Blakely Hastings at 10:00 service; Blakely is the sweet daughter of Charlie and Marlene Hastings, granddaughter of Lisa Turner and sister to Madison and Morgan Lay and Brayden Hastings.

    Sunday, Nov. 17 — Session members will meet with people who are interested in joining Swift Church immediately following both services.

    Sunday, Nov. 17 — Alabama Sheriffs Boys Ranch will join our Swift family for 10:00 worship, followed by a fish fry and fellowship, hosted by our fellowship committee.

    It’s almost time for our food pantry to make preparations for Thanksgiving. To help fill our Thanksgiving bags, please consider sharing canned ham, small frozen turkey, frozen chicken, box of dressing, cream of mushroom soup, cranberry sauce, canned yams, canned green beans, instant mashed potatoes, gravy mix, canned vegetables, cake mix, frosting, brownie mix, and/or cookie mix.
