Mission and service
►Food pantry

Open Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.

This week the food pantry served 74 families, including 261 people.

If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.

If you have questions or want to volunteer, please contact the church office at 251-943-8367 or email.

The pantry needs egg cartons and plastic grocery bags.

►Seeking nursery helpers

We are looking for men and women of Swift to support our nursery for our 10 a.m. service, two adults each Sunday.

If you are interested in volunteering either once a month or once every two months, please contact co-captains Kathy Menk at 251-518-7966 or Eunice Ray at 251-979-2231 or see them after church.

Thank you for loving and supporting the children of Swift Church.

Christian education
►‘Snacks with Susan and Daryl’ discussion class

Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 4

‘The God of How and When’
Continuing through March 8

This series focuses on Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Joshua and Mary, who were each given a seemingly impossible promise by God and then had to wait an interminable amount of time for him to show them “the how and the when.”

Everyone is welcome to join us.

►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine

Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 2

Our class will continue to study the Book of James this Sunday.

This book is one of the epistles in the New Testament, traditionally attributed to James, the brother of Jesus. This letter addresses early Christians who faced various hardships and challenges, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their faith. It is packed with practical wisdom and teachings aimed at guiding believers on how to live out their faith in daily life. The themes of faith, community, and ethical living are central to its message.

If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself.

Visitors and new class members are always welcome. We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries.

We look forward to seeing you.
