Mission and service
►Food pantry
The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. to serve the community.
This week, we served 42 families and 181 people.
Please bring your extra paper bags and (dozen only) egg cartons to church this Sunday. Thanks for your help.
►Fellowship deacons invite your help
The fellowship deacons, Chris Rogers and Kathy Menk, would like to give you an opportunity to help out with Sunday fellowship time immediately following Sunday worship. We usually provide a sweet treat (doughnuts, cookies, cake, bread, bars, etc.) and a healthy treat (deviled eggs, cheese and crackers, assorted fruit and/or vegetable tray, etc.). Possibilities are not limited to these suggestions. And homemade is not a requirement. Store bought goodies are just as appreciated as homemade. A sign-up sheet is provided in the fellowship hall if you would like to sign up to bring something.
Thank you in advance from the fellowship team.

Generosity

Thank you for your generous pledges and ongoing offerings. Your support and commitment to Swift Church is greatly appreciated.
Prayers and joys
►Please let us know . . .
Please call the church or email to notify us of any joys or concerns; birthdays, anniversaries, health issues or family deaths so that we may put it in the weekly emailed announcements for your church family to pray with you or to praise God for your joy. (We don’t publish personal prayer concerns on the website.)
■ Thank you, Bill Garretson and Jane King, for volunteering to livestream the video for worship service in Mary McNair’s absence. Others are encouraged to volunteer as well.
■ Denise Angle’s son is interviewing for a new position.
■ Thank you to our congregation for writing down your prayer requests and submitting them. We appreciate you all greatly.
Thank you . . .
. . . for the gracious goodbyes you have shared with me over the past weeks, and especially for the farewell reception last Sunday. What a blessing that so many of you were able to stay for cake and conversation. Keep meeting together, as we read in the book of Hebrews: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together.”
Farewell, Jody Beth
►Celebrations
Birthdays and anniversaries are now listed by month in the church newsletter, rather than weekly in the announcements.
►Please remember our military friends and families in your prayers.
Names are listed in the monthly newsletter.
