CYBERCRIME
Program Monday at Swift to focus
on avoiding online scams
Join us on Monday Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Swift Presbyterian Church sanctuary.
We will be joined by experts on cybercrime who will share ways for us to stay safe online — computer, cell phone, or tablet.
In 2024, U.S. cybercrime cost consumers about $16.6 billion total, and seniors (aged 60+) suffered the largest share, with nearly $4.8 billion in losses reported to the FBI’s internet crime complaint center.
■ Cybercrime seminar — Monday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary
■ Deacons meeting — Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m.
■ Finance committee — Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m.
■ Worship committee — Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 4 p.m.
■ Yoga — Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall
■ Session meeting — Monday, Feb. 23, at 4:30 p.m.
■ Intercessory prayer group meets each Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the chapel.
“Divine Creator, fill every heart with compassion,
every mind with understanding,
and every soul with the courage to choose peace.
May love guide our actions, unity bridge our differences,
and hope light the path toward a harmonious world. Amen.”
■ Our food pantry is open to serve the community on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.
|
Open Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.
This week the food pantry served 84 families, including 339 people.
If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.
If you have questions or want to volunteer, please contact the church office at 251-943-8367 or email.
The pantry needs egg cartons and plastic grocery bags.

Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 4
‘The God of How and When’
Continuing through March 1
This series focuses on Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Joshua and Mary, who were each given a seemingly impossible promise by God and then had to wait an interminable amount of time for him to show them “the how and the when.”
Everyone is welcome to join us.
| ►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine | |
Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 2
The Book of James is one of the epistles in the New Testament, traditionally attributed to James, the brother of Jesus. This letter addresses early Christians who faced various hardships and challenges, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their faith. It is packed with practical wisdom and teachings aimed at guiding believers on how to live out their faith in daily life. The themes of faith, community, and ethical living are central to its message.
If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself. Visitors and new class members are always welcome! We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries.
We look forward to seeing you.
