    Scripture: Mark 8:22–26

    ■ The Lord’s Supper will be served by intinction at both services. All are invited to the table.

    ■ Food pantry collection day

    ■ Souper Bowl of Caring — The youth group and fellowship committee will host a meal of soup, bread and dessert after the 10 a.m. service. Take-outs will be available after 8:00 and 10:00 services. All donations will help fund our food pantry. Wear your favorite team’s jersey if you haven’t been able to travel to Kansas City or San Francisco to pick up one of theirs!

    ■ Pastor Keith and Lisa will lead worship at Live Oak at 1 p.m.; all are welcome and invited.

    Thursday, Feb. 6 — “Two or More” fellowship lunch, 11:30 a.m. at El Paso Mexican Grill in Foley (new year, new location). Everyone is invited and welcome.

    Wednesday, Feb. 12 — Refuel (youth in grades 5–12), 6 to 8 p.m.; location TBD; contact Tracy Akins if you would like to host this youth group and/or be a part of the Christian education committee.

    Thursday, Feb. 13 — Bible study on the Gospel of Matthew, 10 to 11:30 a.m. in room 2 in the annex

    Sunday, Feb. 16 — We will collect our “two cents a meal” offering.

    Sunday, Feb. 16 — The session will meet immediately after the 8:00 and 10:00. services to receive people into membership.

    Sunday, Feb. 16 — Swift’s fellowship committee will host our winter visitor appreciation bratwurst dinner. The church will provide the brats and sauerkraut with buns along with coleslaw and baked beans. We would like about 10 people to bring desserts. We will take a collection to offset the cost of the food. We will have a sign-up sheet and greatly appreciate everybody’s help. Questions? Feel free to call Mark, 251-269-8051.

    Jigsaw puzzle exchange 

    Do you need something to while away those winter nights? How about working a Jigsaw puzzle? We have a stack of puzzles in the hallway of the annex. You may take one or leave one. Just return it when you are through or bring one from home to share with others.

    We need your help in making the church “bloom” this year!

    We have vases available if you would like to borrow one to make your own arrangement.
