Program Feb. 9 at Swift to focus
on avoiding online scams
Join us on Monday Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Swift Presbyterian Church sanctuary.
We will be joined by experts on cybercrime who will share ways for us to stay safe online — computer, cell phone, or tablet.
In 2024, U.S. cybercrime cost consumers about $16.6 billion total, and seniors (aged 60+) suffered the largest share, with nearly $4.8 billion in losses reported to the FBI’s internet crime complaint center.

Open Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.
This week the food pantry served 93 families, including 348 people.
If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.
If you have questions or want to volunteer, please contact the church office at 251-943-8367 or email.
The pantry needs egg cartons and plastic grocery bags.

| ►‘Snacks with Susan and Daryl’ discussion class | |
Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 4
‘The God of How and When’
Continuing through March 1
This series focuses on Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Joshua and Mary, who were each given a seemingly impossible promise by God and then had to wait an interminable amount of time for him to show them “the how and the when.”
Everyone is welcome to join us.
| ►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine | |
Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 2
Today our class will study Leviticus, chapters 26 and 27.
This book contains commandments given to Moses by God at the foot of Mount Sinai over about a one-month period just prior to the Israelites’ journey to the promised land.
Leviticus contains instructions for worship and personal holiness. Although the New Testament (the New Covenant) abrogates Old Testament ceremonial law, the Levitical priesthood, and the sanctuary, the Book of Leviticus offers us greater insight into the nature of God and how He wants us to relate to Him.
If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself. Visitors and new class members are always welcome. We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries.
We look forward to seeing you.
