■ We will collect our “two cents a meal” offering. This goes to help buy supplies, snacks, etc., for Elberta Elementary School children.
■ The session will meet immediately after the 8:00 and 10:00 services to receive people into membership.
■ Swift’s fellowship committee will host our northern visitors appreciation bratwurst lunch in the fellowship hall. The church will provide the brats and sauerkraut with buns along with coleslaw and baked beans. Donations to offset the cost of food will be appreciated.

Sunday, Feb. 16 — Swift youth are helping Pastor Kim Vanbrimmer lead worship today at Orange Beach Presbyterian Church, telling the congregation about their Montreat experiences and then holding a bake sale after the worship service. The Orange Beach church does not have a youth program so Kim’s daughter, Hailey, participates with Swift youth. Last year, we raised about $700 at our bake sale in Orange Beach and that money went to help send our youth to Montreat.
Sunday, Feb. 23 — SWAG (for children in grades K–4) and GphiG (youth in grades 5–12) will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church.

The 11th season of Lenten Lunches begins on Thursday, Feb. 27, and continues each Thursday through April 2. They are held at Foley United Methodist Church, 915 N. Pine St., from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There is a simple lunch (suggested donation of $5), followed by a highlight of a local social service program, special music, a Lenten devotional and closing prayer. On March 19, our assistant pastor, Jody Beth, will lead the devotional. You are invited to attend any or all of the lunches. No reservation is required and dress is casual.
Sue Ann Lay is working on a new church directory. If you have made changes in your contact information or would like a new picture, please let her know. You can email her at email@example.com. If you have a picture you would like her to use, please email it to her or give it to her at church. Any hard copies of pictures will be returned to you as soon as they are scanned. Thank you.
