Welcome the Rev. Dr. Ronald Stone as our guest minister.
Rev. Stone was born and raised in Jefferson County, Arkansas.
He received his bachelor of arts degree from Bethel College in McKenzie, Tennessee. He attended Columbia Theological Seminary, where he received his master of divinity.
He received his doctorate of ministry from Memphis Theological Seminary.
He was ordained in 1982. He has also completed four semesters of clinical pastoral education at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
Rev. Stone has been married to Judy since 1979 and they have two grown sons, five grandsons, a granddaughter and two dogs. He and Judy are both retired and are looking forward to a trip to Ireland next month.
The flowers in the sanctuary are placed by David and Denise Angle in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary on Feb. 13.
The Souper Bowl of Caring fundraiser will be in the fellowship hall, immediately after the worship service.

Ash Wednesday worship will be Feb. 14 at noon. The Rev. Alexandra Hutson will conduct the service in the chapel, with imposition of ashes. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall.

■ Palm Sunday — The Rev. Jerry Blacklaw will lead the worship service March 24 at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary.
■ Good Friday — The Rev. Alexandra Hutson will conduct the worship service March 29 at 6 p.m. in the chapel.
■ Easter Sunday — The Rev. Alexandra Hutson will lead our worship service in the sanctuary at 9 a.m.

The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. to serve the community.
This week, we served 67 families and 205 people.
If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.
