■ The Lord’s Supper will be served. Everyone is invited to the table.
■ This is our designated monthly “bring a friend” day. We welcome all who join us for worship, study and fellowship — today and each time we gather.

God is good all the time.
■ Wednesday, Aug. 5 — Adult choir rehearsal, 6 p.m. in the sanctuary
■ Thursday, Aug. 6 — Christmas market chairs meeting, 11 a.m. at Melissa’s Kitchen, Foley
■ Sunday, Aug. 9 — Please join us for a congregational meeting after worship. The purpose of this meeting is to elect a nominating committee that will find candidates for Swift Church leadership in 2027. We look forward to seeing you for this important part of the life of Swift.
■ Wednesday, Aug. 12 — Handbell choir rehearsal, 5 p.m. in the sanctuary
■ Monday, Aug. 17 — Session meeting, 4:30 p.m. in annex room 2
■ The intercessory prayer group is taking a break during the summer months. Watch for updates for when the group will resume meeting this fall.
■ Our food pantry is open to serve the community on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.

This week the food pantry served 64 families, including 230 people.
If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.

The pantry needs egg cartons and plastic grocery bags.

You can also use this form on the church website to submit prayer requests. The prayer list is included in the bulletin and will also be available in the monthly newsletter email. (We don’t publish personal prayer concerns on the website.) Please notify us of any joys or concerns; birthdays, anniversaries, health issues or family deaths.
