| Who is interested . . . ? |
Who is interested in a supper club?
Are you interested in meeting once a month and getting to know people from the congregation? Having a wonderful meal and maybe hosting?
We are looking to start up one or more groups for time spent getting to know each other in a smaller group setting.
Let me know your thoughts! If this is something you are interested in, we will begin making plans. This will be a great way for us to get involved and gather in more casual settings.
Give Lynn Barnwell a call or text at 251-979-7581 or email at mlbarnwell552@gmail.com.

Open Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.
This week the food pantry served 69 families, including 249 people.
If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.
If you have questions or want to volunteer, please contact the church office at 251-943-8367 or email.
The pantry needs egg cartons and plastic grocery bags.

| ►‘Snacks with Susan and Daryl’ discussion class | |
Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 4
‘He Chose the Nails’
Through April 12
In He Chose the Nails, Max Lucado observes that the last moments leading up to the death of Jesus were not left up to chance. God chose the path; he selected the nails. Our Lord planted the trio of crosses and painted the sign. God was never more sovereign than in the details of the death of his Son.
And in those details are gifts that Christ provided for us. The cross. The thorns. The nails. His seamless robe. The empty tomb. God didn’t have to give us all these things, you know. The only required act for our salvation was the shedding of blood, yet he did much more. So much more.
We’d love for you to join Snacks with Susan and Daryl. It’s a relaxed time to connect, reflect on the lesson together, and enjoy a bite before worship. Come as you are. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been before, there’s a place for you.
| ►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine | |
Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 2
Our class will continue to study the Book of James today.
This book is one of the epistles in the New Testament, traditionally attributed to James, the brother of Jesus. This letter addresses early Christians who faced various hardships and challenges, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their faith. It is packed with practical wisdom and teachings aimed at guiding believers on how to live out their faith in daily life. The themes of faith, community, and ethical living are central to its message.
If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself.
Visitors and new class members are always welcome. We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries.
We look forward to seeing you.
