Extravagant Generosity Opportunities
The Santa Foundation: Each year we donate to the Santa Foundation which helps make Christmas a little brighter for children in our area. For each $10 donated, an ornament is placed on the tree in the back of the Sanctuary. So far, we have received $243. in donations. You can still donate today. Make out your checks to Swift Church and mark in the memo line “to Santa Foundation.”
Toys for Tots: Thank you to everyone who donated to Toys for Tots. Toys were delivered to a distribution center in Foley last week.
"Swift Presbyterian Stained Glass Window Replica" Silent Auction:
Congratulations to High Bidder Jimbo Woodall of DataTrust Technologies on the Silent Auction painted replica of the Swift stained glass window. Thank you to Hannah Melton for sharing your artistic talents! And blessings to the family who will be receiving Christmas presents with the money from this silent auction.
Presbyterian Home for Children: This year's Christmas Eve offering will be donated to the Presbyterian Home for Children in Talladega. Perhaps our donations at Christmas time will help to keep this very worthwhile residential home and school in operation. To find out how you can help in this ministry, go to www.phfc.org.
EXTRAVAGANT GENEROSITY- YOU NAILED IT!!
“Thanks to all the folks that helped with the Cookie Reception after the beautiful Choir Cantata last week. The set up, clean up, decorating, and wonderful cookies/snacks made our guests feel welcome – people stayed and visited, which was delightful. Thanks to all who helped with this team effort!” Susan Pichoff
