11:00am  Please join us in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and conversation.

Sunday we will collect our 2-cents-a-Meal Offering.   We send 100% of this offering to Living Waters of the World, a ministry of the Synod of Living Waters Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). 

The Session will meet immediately following the 8:00 and 10:00 services to receive people into membership. If God is leading you to become a part of this church family, please come forward at that time.

Sun, Oct. 19 – Chris Peters’ installation as the Associate Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope will be at 3:00pm with a reception to follow.  Lauren Peters, our youth ministry consultant and wife of Chris, will be preaching at the service.  

Mon, Oct. 20 – Session meets in the Andy Lay room at 6:30pm.

Tues, Oct. 21 – Chancel Choir rehearses at 6:00pm

Wed, Oct. 22 – Food Pantry volunteers: Mary Raymond and Charlie McVea.

Wed, Oct. 22 – Handbell Choir rehearses at 6:00pm

Sun, Nov. 2 – We will have a guest speaker during Sunday School who will inform us about human trafficking in our local area and how we can assist with those needs. She will speak to high school through adults.

Sun, Nov. 2 – Food Pantry collection Sunday

Sun, Nov. 2 – Pastor Keith and Lisa will lead worship at Live Oak at 1:00pm

Sun, Nov. 2 – We will serve the Sacrament of Holy Communion by intinction at the 8:00 service and in the pews at the 10:00 service.

Wed, Nov. 5 – Kairos cookie drop off in the office; 8:00am – noon

Sat, Nov. 8 – Cantata rehearsal at Swift: 9:00am

Sun, Nov. 9 – It’s time for a Tailgate Party! Join us after the 10am service  in the fellowship hall. Wear your favorite team jersey and we’ll see you there!

                                             VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE

           We have many veterans buried in our Swift Church cemetery.  We will place American flags on their graves November 7th.  If you did not notify us last year of relatives who were buried in our cemetery and who served, please fill out the blue slip provided at the back of the church, put it in the offertory plate, or call the church office.

                                                HANDBELLS AND TONE CHIMES UPDATE

       Danny Lyons, a solo handbell ringer from Pensacola, will play in worship on November 9.  Sunday, November 16th, is celebration/dedication Sunday for the handbells.  You won’t want to miss these two Sundays.

                                                         CHILDREN IN WORSHIP

      We encourage students of 1st grade and older to worship with their families in the sanctuary and/or chapel.  Children’s worship bags are available for use during both services.


                            Cookies & other treats for fellowship time following 10:00 worship are always welcome.  Sign-up sheet is on the food table in the fellowship hall.
